Citizen Digital reported that a 32-year-old woman, identified as Syombua Musau, is being treated as the main suspect behind the murder of her husband, aged 82.

Area Assistant Chief Albanus Mutula confirmed the incident, saying the couple disagreed on KSh 3,000. According to Mutula, the dispute began after the deceased accused his young wife of stealing his money During the argument, Syombua allegedly stoned her husband on the back, killing him instantly. Police officers from Mbumbuni Police Station were called and arrested the woman, who will be taken to court. Mutula urged residents to find amicable ways of solving their differences without taking regressive actions.

Why did the woman kill her husband in the Mukono district?

In another sad incident, residents of Mukono district were shocked after a man was allegedly murdered in his sleep by his 30-year-old wife. Allegedly, Ruth Musimenta stabbed James Nsubuga in the neck, resulting in his death. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, May 18, at their residence in Katikamu village.

As reported by the Monitor, Fred Enanda, the police spokesperson, disclosed that Musimenta had confined her husband to their bedroom for several days and had devised a plan to dispose of his body.

Enanga additionally disclosed that Musimenta confessed to the crime of killing her husband and is scheduled to appear in court to answer murder charges.

Police investigations suggest that the suspect and the deceased had a tumultuous relationship, which ultimately culminated in the fatal incident.
