The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has uncovered a chilling case involving a 33-year-old man suspected of being behind the killing and dumping of bodies at the Kware dumpsite in Embakasi.
The DCI revealed that the suspect targeted beautiful women, luring them to their deaths.
In a press conference, DCI boss Mohammed Amin disclosed that the victims were all attractive women.
“He had a predation for beautiful women, although beauty is subjective. What could be beautiful to you may not be beautiful to another person,” Amin explained.
The suspect confessed to investigators that he had killed 42 females and disposed of their bodies at the dumpsite.
His first victim was his wife, whom he married in 2022. The man admitted to strangling her to death, dismembering her body, and discarding the remains at the dumpsite.
The arrest took place in the Soweto area of Kayole around 3 a.m. as the suspect was leaving a venue after watching a football game.
Amin noted that the suspect was in the process of luring another victim named Susan at the time of his arrest.
Efforts are underway to locate Susan, who is expected to assist with the investigations.
