The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has unveiled a disturbing array of items seized from the prime suspect in the Kware killings, shedding light on the gruesome nature of the crimes.

According to DCI boss Mohamed Amin, the suspect, Collins Jomaisi Khalisia has confessed to the murder of 42 women over a span of two years, their bodies callously disposed of at the Kware dumpsite.

During a press briefing, DCI boss Mohamed Amin disclosed the inventory recovered from the suspect’s possession, which includes 24 sim cards, 8 smartphones, 2 feature phones, a laptop, a hard drive, 2 flash drives, a memory card, a machete suspected to have been used in dismemberment, 12 nylon sacks similar to those used to conceal the victims’ bodies, industrial rubber gloves, and various personal items belonging to the victims.

“The items recovered are crucial to our investigation into this heinous series of murders,” Amin stated, emphasizing the meticulous nature of the forensic examination underway.

The victims, whose murders span from 2022 to as recently as July 11, 2024, were all allegedly subjected to similar methods of disposal.

Amin further detailed that the suspect’s first victim was reportedly his wife, whom he accused of financial mismanagement.

“The suspect alleged that the first victim was his wife, whom he strangled to death, dismembered, and dumped at the site,” Amin disclosed, painting a picture of a deeply troubled individual driven by vengeance and hatred.

“We are dealing with a psychopathic serial killer who shows no regard for human life,” Amin remarked, highlighting the gravity of the case that has sent shockwaves through the community.
