Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has launched a heartfelt appeal on social media to locate the mother of a young girl featured in a poignant selfie with his late brother, Fred Omondi.
The emotional plea follows the discovery of an old photo shared by Fred Omondi before his tragic death, which captured him holding a little girl with the caption “The love of my heart.”
The touching image has prompted Eric Omondi to seek assistance from the public in finding the girl’s mother, as the photo has stirred curiosity about the nature of their relationship.
Although Fred Omondi, who died in a car accident on Kangundo Road on June 15, did not clarify whether the girl was his daughter, the affectionate caption suggested a close bond.
In a recent X post, Eric Omondi wrote, “I am looking for the mother of this child. Any leads will be appreciated,” urging his followers to help in the search.
Despite Fred’s reputation for privacy regarding his personal life, Eric’s appeal reflects the significance of this connection.
At Fred Omondi’s memorial service, Eric disclosed that two women had already claimed to have children with Fred. H
e emphasized the need for authenticity in these claims, urging anyone with similar connections to come forward before the burial.
“There are children at home who look like Mulamwah. Those people coming and saying they have Fred’s children, please make sure they resemble Fred. Two have already arrived at home,” Eric stated.
