President William Ruto has taken swift action following the incident. He has ordered an exhaustive investigation into the fire, stressing that those found negligent must be held accountable.
In a statement shared on X, President Ruto conveyed his profound sorrow and pledged support to the grieving families.
I instruct relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate this horrific incident. Those responsible will be held to account.
