Isaac Wekesa, popularly known as “Goliath wa Bungoma,” recently returned to his hometown of Bungoma after an unsuccessful attempt to meet Bradley Marongo, who he believes might be his brother.
Wekesa, who stands at an impressive 8.5 feet, sought answers about his potential familial connection to Marongo, another towering Kenyan figure at 8.2 feet.
Despite reaching out for a meeting, the two have yet to meet in person, and Wekesa remains open to taking a DNA test to confirm their relationship.
Wekesa’s return to Bungoma, however, wasn’t solely due to the failed meeting. He also had pressing family matters to attend to, as he recently became a father.
While in Nairobi, Goliath received significant attention, gaining new clothes and shoes, and collaborating on social media content with local influencers like Manzi wa Kibera.
Despite the setbacks, his time in Nairobi was largely successful, and he plans to return soon to pursue further opportunities.
