Prominent lawyer and activist Morara Kebaso was recently involved in a road accident in Kivwe, Embu County.
The incident occurred between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM when a drunk driver collided with the side of his vehicle.
Fortunately, Kebaso escaped unharmed, thanks to the deployment of the vehicle’s airbags, although the tires of his Toyota Prado burst upon impact.
Kebaso, who was on a civic tour to inspect government projects in the area, took to social media to share details of the accident, expressing gratitude for his safety.
He had spent the day visiting various sites, including a controversial stalled road project in Tharaka Nithi County.
The project, funded with Ksh1 billion, has raised concerns due to the involvement of a non-existent company.
Despite the accident, Kebaso continues to push forward with his activism, which involves holding the government accountable for public project mismanagement.
His tours are primarily funded by donations from Kenyans who believe in his cause.
