Several Companies to Auction Vehicles, Motorcycles, and Household Goods Across Nairobi and Kiambu
Five different companies operating in Nairobi and Kiambu counties have officially announced plans to auction a variety of uncollected items, including vehicles, motorcycles, and household belongings.
This follows a gazette notice published on April 11, indicating that the assets will be disposed of if they are not claimed within 30 days.
The companies involved in this auction exercise are Cobbs Auctioneers, Bemac Auctioneers, Racecourse Auctioneers, Nellions Moving and Relocations Limited, and Platinum Auctioneers.
Collectively, they are preparing to auction off more than 39 vehicles, an assortment of motorcycles, and several household and office items.
Cobbs Auctioneers to Auction Porsche Cayenne
Cobbs Auctioneers has revealed plans to auction a Porsche Cayenne that is currently stored at Tito Motors, located on Waiyaki Way in Nairobi.
According to their notice, if the vehicle is not collected within 30 days, it will be sold through a public auction process.
Bemac Auctioneers to Sell Vehicles at Ruaraka Traffic Headquarters
Bemac Auctioneers also issued a warning regarding seven abandoned vehicles lying at the Ruaraka Traffic Headquarters.
The vehicles, which they described as being in scrap condition, include a Honda, a Toyota Corolla, a Nissan Van, three Datsuns, and a Nissan Bluebird. If the owners fail to collect them within the 30-day period, the vehicles will be auctioned.
The auctioneers added, “Further notice is given that unless the motor vehicles are collected within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice, and all pending fees, including storage and related charges, are paid, the vehicles will be sold.”
Racecourse Auctioneers Lists Motorcycles and Vehicles in Ruiru Police Yard
Racecourse Auctioneers stated that a total of 23 motorcycles and 7 vehicles currently being held at the Ruiru Police Yard are also set to be auctioned if they remain unclaimed.
The motorcycles include popular models such as Jincheng, Boxer, TVS, Dayun, Ranger, Captain, Sky Go, and Kawasaki.
The vehicles listed include a Subaru, Toyota Carina, Datsun, Toyota G Touring, Subaru Legacy, Nissan Note, and a Mitsubishi Lancer.
Owners have up to 30 days from the publication date to claim them and settle any outstanding fees, or they risk losing them to auction.
Nellions Moving to Auction Household Items
Nellions Moving and Relocations Limited has announced it will auction a range of household goods currently stored at Young Traders’ premises on Enterprise Road, Nairobi. If the items are not claimed within the next 30 days, they will be sold either through a public auction or private treaty.
The stored belongings include two LG televisions, mattresses, beds, sofa sets, dining chairs, boxes, picture frames, clothes, shoes, books, bedding, a bicycle, and office partitions.
Nellions clarified that the items would only be released to owners upon full payment of the packing, transport, and storage charges.
Failure to settle these charges within the notice period will result in the goods being sold to recover the costs.
Platinum Auctioneers to Dispose of Audi Q7 in Kiambu
Lastly, Platinum Auctioneers has notified the public that an Audi Q7 being stored at Ves Motor Garage along Thindigua, Kiambu County, will be sold if unclaimed.
The auction will take place within 30 days through either public auction or private treaty, depending on the circumstances.
This wave of auctions highlights the importance of timely collection of impounded or stored property. Owners are being urged to collect their items promptly and pay any outstanding dues to avoid permanent loss of their assets.
