Nine Firms Announce Auctions for Vehicles, Motorcycles, and Goats in Nairobi, Kiambu, and Mombasa

Nine different companies operating across Nairobi, Kiambu, and Mombasa counties have officially announced that they will be holding public auctions within the next 30 days. The auctions will include a wide variety of items such as vehicles, motorcycles, livestock, and machinery.

In a gazette notice published on July 11, Fortune Auctioneers stated that they plan to auction a Toyota Corolla bearing a Ugandan registration plate. The car is currently located at Twigen Garage Centre along the Northern Bypass Njatha-ini Road in Nairobi County. This auction will take place within the next month.

Kerati Auctioneers also revealed plans to auction multiple vehicles, motorcycles, and even a white goat. Among the vehicles listed for sale are a Peugeot pick-up, Toyota Salon, Toyota Noah, and a Toyota Land Cruiser. The motorcycle models expected to go under the hammer include brands such as TVS, Shinnery, and Honda.

In Mombasa, Jaffery Motors announced that it will auction 29 vehicles and motorcycles currently stored at the Jaffery Motors Godown/Warehouse, which is located at Shimanzi off Mwinyi Mpate Road.

The vehicles set for auction include popular brands like Nissan Datsun, Toyota Allion, Mitsubishi Lancer, Toyota Vitz, Mazda, Toyota NZE, Nissan Juke, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Premio, Nissan Hamme, Nissan Lafesta, Mazda Demio, and Toyota Runx. The motorcycles listed include well-known models such as Sanlg, Yamaha, Renegade, Haojin, and Bajaj Boxer.

Davis and Shirtliff Limited, a well-known engineering company, has also joined the list of firms conducting auctions. The company announced it will dispose of water pumps, generators, engines, and other equipment brought in for repairs before April 30, 2025. These items will be auctioned off within 21 days from the notice.

The Pangani Auction Centre, located along Murang’a Road opposite Guru Nanak Hospital in Nairobi, has directed individuals who won previous auctions to collect their goods and vehicles that remain unclaimed at the premises.

The center emphasized that all uncollected items must be picked up within the next 30 days. If not, they will be resold through either public auction or private treaty. The notice specifically mentioned auctioneers such as Gallant Auctioneers, Moran Auctioneers, Express S. Auctioneers G12470, Viewline Auctioneers, and Starline Auctioneers, urging them to act swiftly to avoid losing the unclaimed items.

Westbound Auctioneers also announced their plan to dispose of two motor vehicles currently lying idle at Wagason Auto Care Garage, located at Dagoretti Corner behind Karandini Market, off Wanyee Road in Nairobi. The auction will go forward if the vehicles remain uncollected within the stipulated 30-day period.

CMC Motors Group Limited has informed the public that it will auction a variety of uncollected trucks, buses, and cars that are currently at their company yard. If not picked up within 30 days, they will be sold either through a public auction or private treaty. The list of vehicles includes top brands like Ford Ranger, Land Rover Defender, Mercedes Truck, Range Rover, and three 62-seater buses, along with New Holland equipment.

Meanwhile, Hariki Auctioneers revealed it plans to auction both a Toyota Lexus and an Isuzu vehicle currently being held at Hariki Yard Limited. These will be sold within 30 days through public auction, tender, or private treaty, depending on how the bidding process unfolds.

Lastly, Aztec Auctioneers announced their upcoming sale of a Daf Lorry, a Mercedes Benz Truck, a MAN Truck, and a Trailer. These are currently located at the Pace of Africa Limited premises, situated off Outer-Ring Road near NCPB Donholm in Nairobi.

The auction will be conducted within the next 30 days and may happen through either a private treaty or public auction, depending on interest and availability.

These announcements signal a busy auction season across several counties, with opportunities for buyers looking for deals on everything from high-end cars and motorcycles to livestock and industrial equipment.
