KUCCPS Opens Application Portal for KMTC Courses — Students Given 14 Days to Apply

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened its online portal for students interested in pursuing courses at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

In a notice issued on Tuesday evening, KUCCPS announced that the application period will run from October 1 to October 14, giving learners a 14-day window to submit their choices. This announcement is a major opportunity for students looking to build careers in the medical and health sciences sector.


Courses Available — Certificate & Diploma Options Across All KMTC Campuses

KUCCPS confirmed that students can now apply for both Certificate and Diploma programmes offered in various KMTC campuses across the country. The available Certificate courses include:

  • Medical Engineering
  • Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine
  • Health Records & Information Technology
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • Public Health
  • Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Community Health Assistant
  • Health Insurance Management

For Diploma programmes, applicants can choose from:

  • Mortuary Science
  • Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Physiotherapy
  • Community Health
  • Radiography & Imaging
  • Public Health
  • Medical Social Work
  • Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Health Counselling
  • Medical Engineering
  • Pharmacy
  • Health Records & IT
  • Orthopaedic Technology
  • Speech & Language Therapy
  • Health Promotion

Entry Qualifications

Students have been advised to log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal to review programme requirements and apply online. The general qualifications are:
