The same auctioneer will also handle auctions at two police stations in Machakos County. At the Syokimau Police Station, motorcycles of brands such as TVS, Bajaj, and Boxer will be auctioned if not claimed within the next 30 days.
In addition, Mlolongo Police Station will see the sale of motorcycles, a Nissan car, and a bicycle that have been abandoned for a long period. The motorcycle brands listed for Mlolongo include Jinchen, Skygo, and Ranger.
In Kitui County, Windsor House Auctioneers will also oversee an auction at the Mwingi Police Station, where several vehicles, more than 15 motorcycles, two vehicle engines, scrap metals, and even a burnt car shell will go under the hammer.
The car models include Mazda Demio and Subaru Impreza, while the motorcycles are from brands such as TVS, Skygo, Dayn, Haujin, Honda, Safari, and Captain.
Meanwhile, Ikimwanya Auctioneers announced that they will sell off unclaimed vehicles and motorcycles currently parked at the Khayega Police Station in Kakamega County. If the owners fail to come forward within 30 days, the motorcycles to be auctioned include TVS, Boxer, Honda, and Kingbird.
In Kilifi County, Status Auctioneers will, within 60 days, dispose of motorcycles and a Toyota Corolla that have been lying idle at the Kaloleni Police Station. The motorcycles listed for sale are from brands such as Boxer and Haojin.
Additionally, Fancy Friends Auctioneers announced plans to auction several unclaimed motor vehicles currently held at Jamii Autocare within the next 30 days. The vehicles include various makes such as Yutona, Rav4, Hilux, Nissan Skyline, Mercedes, Ford, and Suzuki.
Separately, Moryx Auto revealed that it intends to dispose of a Toyota Land Cruiser that has remained in its trading yard for a long time. The sale will take place within 30 days through public auction, tender, or private treaty.
Lastly, Garaa Investment Auctioneers said it will sell assorted household and bar items currently stored at the Auto Gallery Yard along Waiyaki Way. The list includes sofa sets, televisions, carpets, TV cabinets, bathroom sinks, spoilers, grills, and mudguards.
The auction will also feature bottles of wine and spirits, sodas, chairs, and gas cylinders recovered from various bars. The company noted that these items will also be sold through public auction, tender, or private treaty, depending on the response from interested buyers.
These upcoming auctions offer members of the public a chance to purchase a variety of items—ranging from vehicles and motorcycles to household goods—at potentially lower prices, while helping police stations and storage yards clear space for new impounded property.
