Hip-hop star Cardi B has been releasing lots of music lately. In the first few months of 2024, the rapper released a bunch of new songs, all of which became hits on at least one Billboard chart she is familiar with: the Digital Song Sales ranking. This week, the Bronx rapper gains yet another spot on the chart, right next to a well-known song.
Shakira and Cardi’s “Punteria” debuted at No. 10 on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart, which tracks the country’s best-selling songs. According to Luminate, the new tune entered the top ten after selling 2,956 copies.
Cardi B earns two slots in the top ten on the Digital Song Sales chart this week. “Punteria” debuts at No. 10, while her previous single “Enough (Miami)” drops to No. 9, giving the rapper two wins in a row.
Last week, “Enough (Miami)” debuted at number one on the Digital Song Sales chart. It gave Cardi her sixth top spot on the chart, with 37,000 sales. The single sold additional 3,126 copies in its second frame of sales, which was less than 10% of what it sold in its first time.
“Punteria” is Cardi’s twenty-third career top ten hit on the Digital Song Sales chart. Shakira now ranks eighth in the top rung of the tally.
This current hit appears on Shakira’s new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. “Punteria” is the biggest success from the album on this week’s Billboard charts, thanks entirely to Cardi’s involvement. In addition to its triumph on the Digital Song Sales list, it currently leads the Latin Digital Song Sales chart. It debuts at No. 72 on the Hot 100, returning both stars to the list of the country’s most-consumed tunes.
