Former Governor Oparanya Addresses Viral Photos with Mystery Woman! In the past week, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya found himself at the center of online discussion after intimate photos of him with an unidentified woman began circulating widely on social media. While many questioned the context and timing of the leaked images, Oparanya has now directly addressed the matter in a video statement aimed at setting the record straight.

Speaking from Mombasa where he said he was enjoying family time, the veteran politician confirmed that the photos were genuine but expressed confusion over why someone would feel the need to share such private moments. He acknowledged the woman in the photos as his “loved one” without providing further details on their relationship.

Oparanya brushed off speculation the photo leak had caused him distress, laughing off false claims he had been hospitalized. “As you can see, I’m able to speak clearly and I have no health problems,” he said, assuring viewers of his well-being.

At the same time, the former governor criticized those responsible for spreading the images without consent. He questioned their true intentions, wondering what interest people had in invading his privacy in such a way.

Above all, Oparanya stressed the importance of protecting his large family from invasive scrutiny. While not directly accusing anyone, his comments suggested frustration over unwarranted intrusion into his personal life at the hands of ill-willed online actors.

The video clarification was a rare instance of a prominent Kenyan politician directly acknowledging images circulating about their love life. It showed Oparanya’s desire to take control of the narrative and avoid baseless gossip spreading any further. However, by confirming the photos but declining to provide the full story, the statement may also raise new questions among the public.
