Joel, a tourist, is seeking help from Kenyans to identify the thief who stole his phone while live streaming

Joel and his friend Christian Rodriguez are offering a KSh 10,000 reward for any information leading to the identification of the thief

The duo has shared a photo of the suspect and is appealing to the TikTok community and Kenyans for help in finding him

A tourist has appealed to Kenyans to help him identify a thief who stole his phone.

The disappointed man identified as Joel, was captured in a video while at a police station after reporting the case.

They claimed that somebody grabbed Joel’s phone and made away with it while they were live-streaming and showing their fans how beautiful Kenya is.

“We are currently at the police station with my friend, Joel. He got robbed. They stole his phone. We were on TikTok, live streaming and showing the people how beautiful Kenya is, and someone just came and grabbed the phone,” they said.

The duo also displayed a photo of the thief and promised a gift of KSh 10,000 to anyone who would help them find him.

“We have a picture of what he looks like—this is the picture right here. If anyone from TikTok knows him, please help us. It is annoying. They have ruined my life. Somebody help me out, I will pay KSh 10,000,” Joel said.
