Identified as Joel Ssenyonga, the cab operator approached the said woman whom she convinced to go to his house

All was well until she got unconscious in the course of their escapades, dying moments later with the helpless man looking on

He was arrested and detained ready to face a murder charge after police learnt he planned to dispose of the body with the help of his friend

Uganda: Police in central of Kenya’s western neighbour are holding a man in whose custody a woman died.

Identified as Joel Ssenyonga, the taxi driver was arrested after his friend tipped off the law enforcers.

How Ugandan taxi driver landed in trouble

According to the police, the man approached the unidentified woman from the roadside on Tuesday evening for a steamy together.

The 38-year-old businesswoman obliged and followed the man to his house.

“When she consented, the two proceeded to the suspect’s home at Mabaale zone later on Tuesday night,” Monitor quoted the man as saying.

In his account told to the police, Ssenyoga said the lady became unconscious during intercourse and died moments later. His earlier effort to resuscitate her with a piece of cloth had failed.

Unaware of the next course of caution, the taxi driver called his friend to help him dispose of the body, but the latter contacted the police.

They showed up at the house and picked the man up. His neighbours confided in the police that he had been exchanging women every day.

Ssenyoga was detained at the Kasana Police Station as a suspected murderer. In another instance in which a party died while enjoying a good time, TUKO.co.ke recently reported of a man who died in his girlfriend’s house.
