Renowned Actor Alphonse Makacha Makokha Mourns Loss of Wife, Purity Wambui

Renowned actor Alphonse Makacha Makokha is mourning the untimely passing of his beloved wife, Purity Wambui.

Makokha’s colleague and friend, Ondieki Nyuka Kwota shared the news via Facebook on Sunday 2nd June 2024.

“Beloved friends and fans! It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Purity Wambui, the beloved wife of Makokha Makacha, also known as “Babyface” from the TV show “Vioja Mahakamani” on KBC Channel 1. She was an extraordinary woman who touched many lives with her kindness and cheerful spirit,” he wrote.

Ondieki also conveyed Makokha’s gratitude for the love and support from the fans.

“Makokha and his family are immensely grateful for your love and support during this difficult and extraordinary time. For those who wish to offer their condolences, please feel free to leave your message below. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

Ondieki referred to Wambui as a woman whose kind heartedness deeply impacted the lives of numerous individuals.

According to a certain publication, Makokha’s wife had been in hospital for some time now and she later passed away on 1st June 2024 at the Kenyatta National Hospital while receiving treatment.

Following the announcement, the Kenyan entertainment community has been extending their condolences to Makokha and his family.
