Former Presidential aspirant and Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah on Sunday spearheaded a significant protest against the controversial Financial Bill 2024, rallying the Kenyan diaspora in Dallas, United States.
The bill, which has ignited widespread outrage, has been criticized for its potential to adversely affect the economic well-being of ordinary Kenyans.
Wajackoyah, known for his vocal stance on a range of national issues, lent his support to efforts aimed at defeating the bill, which critics argue could impose undue financial burdens on the populace.
“We want to chase away fraudsters together with our young Generation Z. There is an urgency for collective action to safeguard the economic future of our nation.”
Wajackoyah urged Kenyans at home and abroad to stand in solidarity, particularly calling on the diaspora community to actively participate in the movement and support their compatriots back home.
