Ghanaian youth blasts countrymen for snubbing protests
In a video shared on X by @MrJamesKe, the unidentified youth could be seen harshly lecturing his fellow youth on camera for failing to turn up and fight for their lives.
“We should be disappointed in ourselves because it hurts so much when people that have sacrificed whatever it takes to be there and fight for the ordinary Ghanaian come here and look at the number of people. And no wonder the journalists are asking if we’re sympathisers. We are not sympathisers. We are fellow Ghanaians who believe injustices have been served to the people,” he said.

The angry protester also condemned security officers sent to frustrate them, saying that the low turnout showed that people were unwilling to bring change to their country.
He noted that things were not going right for the common person, yet people were not supporting the cause to bring change.
“The least the ordinary Ghanaian who is being victimised, who is being served the injustice was to come out and say that we stand with you in all that you are doing. But what do we see? It is very disappointing,” he added.
