Ruto Breaks Silence Over Trump’s Attempted Assassination: President William Ruto joined his counterparts across the globe in condemning the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump.
In a statement issued on behalf of the government and the people of Kenya, Ruto described the incident as troubling wishing Trump a quick recovery.
He further acknowledged that the incident was tough on the family of the former President adding that his thoughts and prayers were with the family of Trump.
The statement read,”On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of Kenya, I wish to add my voice to those condemning the recent attempted assassination of former U.S. President Donald J. Trump,”
“I extend my deepest sympathies to President Trump, his family, and the families of the victims of this shocking, heinous act.
In these troubling times, I take this opportunity to recommit to the democratic ideals we share with the people of the United States of America,” President Ruto added.
