Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi recently revealed the story behind his Ulysse Nardin Freak Phantom watch, a remarkable timepiece that features a flying carrousel movement, rotating to display time without traditional hands or dials.
Speaking on Oga Obinna’s show, Sudi shared that the watch was a gift from a powerful friend, a former leader whose identity he chose to withhold.
He also received another watch from this source.
Sudi defended his luxury item against criticism, stating that such possessions are meant for enjoyment and should not be condemned.
He drew a comparison with former CS Kipchumba Murkomen’s expensive watch, questioning the criticism directed at those who own luxury items.
Additionally, Sudi discussed his financial success, revealing that he earns Sh2 million per month from dairy farming and owns Timba XO, an entertainment venue valued at Sh250 million.
Despite facing damage from protests related to the Finance Bill 2024 in June, Timba XO is set to reopen soon.
Sudi’s various ventures provide employment to nearly 1,500 people.
