In a remarkable display of quick thinking and bravery, a driver of an Ena Coach shuttle on its way to Kisumu from Kisii averted a potential disaster. While traveling, the driver noticed that the shuttle was experiencing brake failure.

Understanding the severity of the situation, he swiftly decided to take action to ensure the safety of the passengers on board.

Realizing the risks associated with brake failure, the driver carefully guided the shuttle towards the Nyambera Graveside, a relatively open area away from heavy traffic.

This quick decision allowed him to slow down the vehicle without causing harm to other road users or passengers.

The area provided a safe space where the driver could bring the shuttle to a controlled stop.

As the shuttle came to a halt, the passengers were understandably shaken but unharmed. The driver’s calm demeanor and decisive actions prevented what could have been a tragic accident.

The passengers, though startled by the experience, expressed their gratitude to the driver for his presence of mind and heroism. They acknowledged that his quick thinking had saved their lives.

After ensuring that all passengers were safe, the driver called for assistance, and another shuttle was dispatched to continue the journey to Kisumu.

The incident serves as a testament to the importance of remaining calm and composed in emergencies.

It also highlights the critical role that skilled and attentive drivers play in ensuring the safety of passengers on public transport.
