A tragic accident involving a bus headed to Tororo, Uganda, resulted in the deaths of three people, including a woman and an infant, in the Kayole area of Naivasha.

The bus, carrying mourners en route to a burial in Uganda, crashed on the morning of August 7, 2024.

Witnesses report that the driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a slippery section of the road.

Despite attempts to stop, the bus collided with several other vehicles before veering off the road and landing in a ditch.

The police report indicates that the bus was carrying 63 passengers at the time of the accident.

Several passengers sustained various degrees of injury, including the bus driver, who is now receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by local authorities, who are working to determine the exact factors that led to the tragic incident.
