In a significant event this morning, President William Ruto presided over the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed cabinet secretaries at State House.
The ceremony marked a pivotal moment as the new officials took their oaths of office, officially assuming their roles within the government.

- Interior and National Administration: Kithure Kindiki
- Defence: Soipan Tuya
- National Treasury: John Mbadi
- Public Service: Justin Muturi
- Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry: Aden Duale
- Lands: Alice Wahome
- Education: Julius Ogamba
- Transport: Davis Chirchir
- Tourism and Wildlife: Rebecca Miano
- Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs: Hassan Joho
- Labour and Social Protection: Alfred Mutua
- Water and Sanitation: Eric Muuga
- Investment, Trade, and Industry: Salim Mvurya
- Health: Debra Barasa
- Youth Affairs and Sports: Kipchumba Murkomen
Outside the venue, a notable scene unfolded as officials diligently affixed official flags to the newly assigned vehicles of the cabinet members.
The flags, a symbol of their new roles, are in accordance with the National Flag, Emblems and Names (Amendment) Act 2014.
This Act stipulates that only high-ranking state officers, including the President, Deputy President, Chief Justice, and the speakers of the National Assembly and Senate, are permitted to fly the flag.
