Stivo Simple Boy, a popular Kenyan musician, recently accused Oga Obinna, a prominent media personality, of wanting to take advantage of him after Obinna suggested he start a YouTube channel and create content.
During an interview on Obinna’s show, the two artists discussed Stivo’s music career and future plans. Obinna advised Stivo to open a YouTube channel and start producing content regularly to engage his fans and grow his audience.
However, Stivo interpreted Obinna’s suggestion as an attempt to exploit him. In a separate video, Stivo claimed that Obinna wanted to manipulate him into creating content that would benefit Obinna’s own media platforms and interest.
Stivo strongly beleaves, he is better off doing music and he urged them to stop clout chasing using his name.
He humorously told Obinna to look for money by himself as he refers to it as “makoto”.
Stivo also revealed, he has his own Music label that goes by the name “Stivo Simple boy”. This is evident, as he recently appeared on Obinna’s show with his first signed artist who goes by the name “machabe “
They recently released their first song together “Mwake Mwake”, which has actually gained publicity days after the release.
Stivo has been making quite a buzz online lately, as he refers to himself as “Mhenga aliobaki”.
He comes up with humorous proverbs and phrases e.g.” Mafi Mafi Mushkila”, which has garnered a lot of attention online and significant comments.
