President William Ruto has shared his thoughts on the upcoming release of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
This follows a briefing he received from Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba on Thursday at State House. The briefing took place just before the official release of the results at Mitihani House.
In his remarks, President Ruto expressed his satisfaction with the overall progress in the country’s education system.
He highlighted the continuous improvements that have been made, including enriching the curriculum, recruiting more teachers, and providing schools with additional learning materials and better facilities.
These efforts, according to the President, have had a positive impact on the performance of students across the nation.
“We are pleased to see our education system advancing, and we’re proud of the results we’re seeing,” President Ruto stated.
“One of the notable improvements is the increasing number of girls who are enrolling in and completing their education, which is a positive step towards greater equality and empowerment in our schools.”
