Listen to what DP Kindiki & Taveta MP John Bwire Told Uhuru for Lecturing Ruto Over Bad Leadership!

Taveta MP John Bwire has strongly criticized former President Uhuru Kenyatta following Uhuru’s recent remarks about President William Ruto’s leadership. In his latest response, Bwire said Uhuru should show respect to the sitting Head of State and avoid what he called unnecessary attacks wrapped in political lectures.

Bwire argued that even as a former president, Uhuru carries a moral obligation to lead by example and protect the dignity of the presidency. He said the tone and speed with which Uhuru has been addressing national matters creates tension and sends the wrong signal to the public.

According to the Taveta MP, the presidency is an institution that deserves respect regardless of political differences. He urged Uhuru to offer constructive advice privately instead of using public platforms to question the legitimacy or competence of the current administration.

Bwire insisted that Kenyans want unity and leadership that builds the country, not exchanges that appear personal or disrespectful. He added that those who once held power should not behave as opposition activists but as statesmen with a responsibility to guide without undermining the office they once occupied.

His remarks have added a new layer to the growing political conversation triggered by Uhuru’s Jubilee Party speech, where the former president accused Ruto’s government of reversing national gains and promoting policies he described as untested.
