Footage shared on social media depicted a Kenyan man meticulously arranging pieces of chapati He had ordered sliced chapatis and suspected that the kitchen staff might have shortchanged him He laughed out loud after proving his suspicions, eliciting mixed reactions from Kenyans
How did client expose waiter?
In the undated clip, the hotel client asked for chopped-up chapatis, and the waiter decided to take advantage of the situation. The clip showed the man with a plate of sliced-up chapatis, but he suspected something was off.
He then took the pieces, one by one and arranged them on the table to see if they would make a perfect circle.
However, the pieces were incomplete, and some of them were missing. The man burst out laughing after realising the waiter’s trick and instructed the waiter to sit beside him. The video amused Kenyans, who cracked jokes about the situation. Others said it was proof that corruption is rampant in the country.
Doreen Kathambi “I once prepared chicken for a client and ate the drumstick. I told them that the chicken was physically challenged and only had one drumstick.” Willy M Willy: “How will the hotel owner convince the guy that the chapati is full?”
Bilaly Kalibrah: “We are fixing this nation!”
Jose Maina: “The genius in mathematics was finding the circumference of the circle, excluding the missing sector.”
Jarlly Kirui: “This video can’t get old…I like this guy and his laughter.”
Bamujuni Depot: “But he is wrong! He used a wider circumference to form the chapati. If I were the restaurant owner, I could rearrange it to form a whole chapatti.”
