Ndindi Nyoro Sponsors Headteachers’ Holiday Trip to Dubai
Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, has once again shown his commitment to supporting education by sponsoring five primary school headteachers from various schools in his constituency for an exciting five-day holiday trip to Dubai.
The MP shared details of the trip on his social media platforms on 3rd December 2025, explaining that the headteachers had earned the trip through his motivation packages designed to reward outstanding performance in schools.
These packages recognize teachers for excelling in subjects, showing the most improvement, and honor headteachers whose schools perform exceptionally or show significant improvement.
According to Nyoro, the recognition program is structured to reward both primary and secondary school leaders. “Headteachers of the best-performing schools and those whose schools have shown the most improvement are rewarded with trips to Dubai.
Teachers who have previously visited Dubai are sent to Malaysia. This also applies to day secondary schools,” he stated.
The five headteachers are enjoying a fully sponsored five-night stay in Dubai, which includes a variety of premium experiences.
They are taking part in a Half-Day Dubai City Tour, enjoying a Marina Dhow Cruise Dinner, and experiencing world-class entertainment. In addition, the teachers will visit the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and participate in an adventurous Desert Safari complete with a BBQ dinner.
Nyoro emphasized that the trip is meant to motivate teachers and inspire better performance in schools across his constituency. He believes that recognizing and rewarding excellence encourages educators to continue improving and setting higher standards in their schools.
The headteachers currently benefiting from this initiative represent Ngaru Primary School, Githagara Primary School, Technology Primary School, Maragi Primary School, and Githuguya Primary School.
This is not the first time Ndindi Nyoro has organized such trips. Earlier in April 2025, he sponsored principals from eleven-day schools in the constituency for a benchmarking tour in Dubai and Malaysia, highlighting his ongoing commitment to education and teacher motivation.
Through initiatives like this, Nyoro continues to set a strong example of how leadership and investment in education can positively impact both teachers and students, creating an environment that encourages growth, innovation, and academic excellence.
