Photos of a Kenyan Member of Parliament posing with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz have been doing rounds on the interwebs.
Oscar Sudi, the Kapseret Member of Parliament, took to his Instagram and posted photos of himself posing with renowned Bongo star Diamond Platnumz at his residence in Tanzania.
The MP went on to describe the meeting, noting that the main maid idea behind their discussion was to explore ways in which Kenya and Tanzania could collaborate.
According to the photos, Diamond is smartly dressed donning white clothes, while Sudi wore a blue shirt with some white pants and casual sneakers.
The two were seen sitting peacefully on some luxurious sofa.
Sudi noted in his post that the meeting took place during his travel to Tanzania and alluded to discussions regarding a future partnership focusing on youth talent development programs.
“Courtesy visit to EAC and Tanzania Musician Diamond Platinumz; discussed areas of collaborating to explore Youth Talent search initiatives,” he captioned.
The meeting between the two drew mixed reactions from his fans online, with everyone trying to figure out where Sudi’s connection with Diamond began.
The WCB President has long been a favorite with Kenyans, and fans are now speculating that Sudi is planning a concert featuring the star.
Back in 2022, Diamond visited the country during the 2022 General Elections and performed at the Azimio Mega Rally at Kasarani Stadium.
