Celebrated Kenyan actress, Catherine Kamau popularly known as Catherine Kamau has acquired a new machine. This comes just a couple of months after Phil Karanja sold her BMW.
Kate, who had always had big dreams of owning a big machine, was over the moon with her new car and she could not help but boast about it.
Kate took to TikTok to share the good news with her followers after her highly publicized loss of a BMW X3 in January 2024.
My Baby is finally home. A big girl purchase! See God, my loves,” read the caption to the video.
Kate’s excitement was echoed by many social media users, who congratulated her on her new acquisition.
Her ex-husband, film director Phil Karanja, sold the black high-gloss BMW X3 worth KSh3.5 million shortly after their separation. Phil had gifted her the car, in January 2020 a month the birth of their daughter Karla Njeri.
The popular actress also took to X to celebrate her recent acquisition, a Mercedes Benz-GLC. She acknowledged and thanked the Car dealer, Kai & Karo who facilitated the purchase.
“Team Kai & Karo delivered na this is not an AD. Good job uncle ya Njeri @khalifkairo you have an excellent team.”
Kai & Karo also took to social media to thank the celebrated actress for giving them the opportunity to do business with her.
“Big girl purchase. Congratulations @kate_actress on your new Mercedes. A new Mercedes GLC owner joins the club,” Kai & Karo captioned.
The new ride is estimated to cost somewhere in the range of Kshs. 5 Million to 8 Million.
Catherine Kamau responded to claims in January that her ex-husband Phil Karanja sold her black BMW X3, which he gifted her in January 2020, a month after their child was born.
In a post uploaded on her Facebook, the actress chastised gossipmongers for spreading misinformation, saying;
“Kindly redirect that energy to watching the new season of Becoming CEO. We ain’t about that life. Poleni and thank you.“
