Kylian Mbappe Confirms PSG Exit At End Of Season In Emotional Video! Kylian Mbappe has confirmed he will exit PSG at the end of the Season after a seven year stint at the club.
The 25-year-old Frenchman made an official announcement of his exit from Paris Saint-Germain on Friday evening. This comes as a confirmation of an earlier revelation in February that the French star would be leaving the French champions at the end of the season.
Mbappe confirmed through a post on social media that his final game at the Parc des Princes will be against Toulouse on Sunday.
The French striker has long been linked with a move away from the French capital, and it is anticipated that he will finally sign the long-awaited deal to join Real Madrid when his contract comes to an end at the end of the season.
Mbappe made the announcement through his X (formerly Twitter) account.
‘Hi everyone, it’s Kylian.’
‘I wanted to speak to you. I’ve always said that I would speak with you and I wanted to announce to you all that it’s my last year at Paris Saint Germain, I will not extend and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks.
‘I will play my last game at the Parc des Princes On Sunday. It’s a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club. One of the biggest in the world.
‘Which allowed me to arrive here to have my first experience in the club with a lot of pressure, to grow as a player of course by being alongside some of the best in history, to meet a lot of people, to grow as a man as well. With all the glory and the mistakes I’ve made, ” Mbappe’s statement read in part.
Mbappe is anticipated to take the No. 10 shirt that Luka Modric will leave in the summer. With his arrival, Madrid would have a forward line of Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo, supported by Bellingham.
Despite enormous investment in the club’s playing roster throughout his tenure at the Parc des Princes, the club has yet to achieve its ultimate ambition under president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which is to win the Champions League.
In 2020, they came close after defeating RB Leipzig in the semi-finals, but fell short in the final, losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in Lisbon.
