Veteran actor Alphonse Makokha Makacha has applied for financial assistance to cover the hospital bill and funeral expenses of his late wife, Purity Wambui.
In a recent post by Makokha’s colleague Ondieki Nyuka Kwota, he requested support on behalf of Makokha.
“Dear Friends and Fans of Matayo, also known as Makokha, we reach out to you in this difficult time. Our beloved comedian, Matayo Msagani Keya, popularly known as Makokha Makacha ‘BabyFace’, is facing a tough time. His dear wife, Purity Wambui Msagani, has sadly passed away, and we kindly ask for your assistance to help cover her hospital bill and give her a deserving send-off.”
According to Ondieki, Makhoka’s family shared that they were facing a challenging period and applied to fans to support the actor.

The Vioja Mahakamani star was bereaved of his wife a few days ago.
Ondieki referred to Wambui as a woman whose kind heartedness deeply impacted the lives of numerous individuals.
According to a certain publication, Makokha’s wife had been in hospital for some time now and she later passed away on 1st June 2024 at the Kenyatta National Hospital while receiving treatment.
