Joanna Kinuthia, the founder of Joanna K Cosmetics and popular digital content creator, took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, July 3 to announce her breakup with Kenyan musician Chris Kaiga.
The news comes after months of speculation among fans, who have followed their relationship since it became public in December 2023.
During a Q&A session titled ‘Ask me something’ aimed at connecting with her followers, Kinuthia responded candidly to a question about her relationship status.
“I have gotten a few questions about this …why don’t you post Chris anymore are you guys still together? The truth is no, we are not together anymore. I am a single girl and it’s been like over a month now and yeah I am okay guys. I don’t know what else to say about that situation,” she revealed.
The couple had initially captured the public’s attention with a heartfelt Instagram post during Chris Kaiga’s birthday celebration last year. Since then, they have been a prominent duo in Kenya’s celebrity scene, garnering a significant following for their public displays of affection and mutual support.
