Residents of Kahawa West are currently facing a serious power outage after a transformer fell in the area.

The fallen transformer not only caused a blackout but also left live electric wires dangerously exposed on the ground, creating a safety hazard for the community.

Despite the clear danger, Kenya Power has yet to take action to address the situation.

Concerned residents have raised the alarm, urging authorities to respond swiftly before any accidents occur.

They worry that the exposed wires could pose a significant risk, especially to children and passersby who might unknowingly come into contact with them.

In addition to the lack of electricity, which has disrupted daily activities, there is growing frustration as the issue remains unresolved.

Community members have begun sharing videos and pictures of the scene on social media in an effort to draw attention to the problem.

The hope is that by spreading the word widely, Kenya Power will be pressured to take immediate action to fix the fallen transformer and restore electricity.

As the situation drags on, residents are becoming increasingly vocal, calling on the utility company to prioritize their safety and resolve the issue without further delay.
