Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has committed to helping ODM loyalist Nuru Okanga establish multiple businesses and secure a new home, offering KSh1.3 million in funding.
Sudi, known for his philanthropy, has earmarked KSh300,000 of the total to open a salon for Okanga’s wife, with the remainder to be invested in other ventures, including a posho mill and a car wash in Okanga’s rural home.
During the announcement, Sudi emphasized the importance of focusing on one business at a time to ensure success.
“No matter how clever you are, you cannot successfully launch multiple businesses simultaneously. You must nurture one business until it is sustainable before moving on to another. I will provide the funds, but you need to heed my advice. Don’t let money cloud your judgment,” Sudi advised.
In addition to the business support, Sudi also pledged to purchase a three-bedroom house for Okanga’s family under the Affordable Housing Program, providing them with a stable and secure home.
