The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will release the results for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) on Monday, January 6, 2025.
This announcement was made by the Ministry of Education in a press release signed by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos.
According to the statement, pupils who sat for the KPSEA exams can check their results once the official school portals are opened for access.
“A total of 1,313,913 candidates participated in the 2024 KPSEA exams held in 35,573 examination centers across the country,” the statement noted.
The Ministry assured the public of its dedication to ensuring a smooth transition for students moving to the next grade.
To support this, the government has been constructing 16,000 new classrooms across the country in four phases. So far, 93% of the project is complete.
Additionally, the Ministry confirmed that the results for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will be released within the first two weeks of January 2025.
Schools are scheduled to reopen for the new academic year on Monday, January 6, 2025. The first term will last 13 weeks, including a five-day midterm break.
The Ministry also reported that a total of 9,926,618 textbooks have been delivered to schools nationwide to prepare for the upcoming school year.
