CCTV Footage Reveals Final Moments of Kilimani Man Before 14th-Floor Fall

Harrowing CCTV footage has now revealed the final hours of a 25-year-old man, Festus Oromo, who tragically fell to his death from the 14th floor of an apartment building in Kilimani.

The disturbing clips, which are now in the hands of investigators, show a series of movements and interactions inside and around the Airbnb apartment where he was staying.

According to the footage, Festus checked into the building on November 28 and proceeded to room B1406. Everything seemed normal at first, and his arrival looked like the beginning of an ordinary day.

At about 4:19 pm, a delivery man dressed in all black approached his door and handed him a package before quickly walking away. What happened between that moment and later in the night is still unclear.

At around 1:06 am, a man identified as Patrick is seen leaving the apartment. The footage does not show any signs of trouble at that moment.

Patrick, who has since been arrested, stands outside the door for a short while before going back inside. About seven minutes later, he emerges again—this time walking out with another man believed to be Festus.

The two men appear relaxed and friendly. Festus is seen holding Patrick by the shoulders, while Patrick, wearing blue jeans, black shoes and carrying a dark tan-brown bag, is holding a drink. They return to the apartment together after a brief chat at the door, still showing no signs of conflict or distress.

Minutes later, the cameras capture Patrick once more. This time, he is dressed in a black vest, shorts and sandals as he heads toward the lift on the 14th floor. The events that follow become more confusing and tense.

At around 1:15 am, Festus comes back alone. He knocks on his apartment door, walks toward the lift area, then returns to the camera’s view shortly after. Roughly a minute later, he finally enters the apartment. It is at this point that the situation drastically changes.

A heated altercation breaks out between Festus and a woman inside the apartment. The door shuts as the struggle continues, leaving the cameras unable to see what happens next.

The next clear moment comes from the parking area CCTV, which records the horrifying scene of Festus’s body falling and landing on the roof of a parked vehicle. The impact leaves no doubt about the severity of the situation.

Following the release and analysis of the footage, two individuals—including the woman seen fighting with Festus—have been arrested.

They will remain in police custody for 14 days as the Directorate of Criminal Investigations continues to piece together what really happened in the final moments before Festus lost his life.

Investigators are still trying to establish whether the fall was accidental, forced, or connected to the altercation caught on camera. More updates are expected as the probe continues.
