Company Puts Dozens of Vehicles Up for Sale From KSh 104,000 in Nationwide Auction
Motorists, car dealers, and bargain hunters now have a fresh opportunity to buy vehicles at relatively low prices after a company announced a large-scale vehicle disposal exercise featuring dozens of units across Kenya.
The sale includes a wide selection of vehicles, ranging from small everyday cars to SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, and heavy commercial lorries, with some reserve prices starting from as low as KSh 104,000.
The sale is being handled through a private treaty process, which means buyers will not take part in a public live bidding event. Instead, interested individuals are required to submit their best offers before the deadline of Tuesday, April 21 at 12 noon.
According to the public notice, the vehicles are being stored in several yards located in different parts of the country.
These include Westlands, Ruiru, Kisii, Mombasa, Eldoret, Migori, Malindi, Kitale, and Thika, giving potential buyers from different regions an easier chance to inspect the units near them.
Potential buyers have been strongly encouraged to physically inspect the vehicles before placing their bids.
This step is important because it allows interested buyers to confirm the exact condition of the unit they want, check for any mechanical or body issues, and make a more informed decision before submitting an offer.
Among the premium units on offer are luxury models such as the 2014 BMW X3 sDrive20i, which has been listed at a reserve price of KSh 2 million, and the BMW X3 M40i going for KSh 1.6 million.
Both of these vehicles are available for viewing in Westlands, making them attractive options for buyers looking for high-end SUVs at potentially discounted prices.
The auction also includes vehicles suited for business and transport use. For example, a 2013 Toyota Hilux has been listed at KSh 2.99 million, while a 2014 Mitsubishi Fuso FI truck located in Kisii is going for KSh 2.6 million.
These models are likely to attract commercial buyers, transporters, contractors, and fleet managers seeking reliable work vehicles.
For Kenyans shopping on a tighter budget, the sale also features several low-cost options. One of the cheapest vehicles listed is a 2004 Toyota Succeed in Thika, which carries a reserve price of just KSh 104,000. Another affordable choice is a 2001 Toyota Town Ace in Eldoret, available from KSh 115,000.
Other pocket-friendly models include a 2003 Nissan March priced at KSh 205,000, as well as a 2002 Nissan Caravan in Mombasa with a reserve price of KSh 276,000.
Such units may appeal to first-time car buyers, small business owners, or anyone looking for an affordable second vehicle.
SUV enthusiasts have also not been left out, with several popular family and off-road friendly models included in the sale.
These include a 2015 Toyota RAV4 at KSh 1.3 million, a 2010 Toyota Fortuner at KSh 1.1 million, a 2006 Subaru Legacy at KSh 478,000, and a 2014 Nissan X-Trail listed at KSh 1.2 million.
In addition, the list contains many commonly used daily-drive vehicles that are popular in the Kenyan market. Some of the featured models include the Toyota Vitz, Toyota Probox, Toyota Axio, Toyota Ractis, Suzuki Swift, Mazda Premacy, Subaru Impreza, and Nissan Note.
These units are spread across different yards nationwide, giving buyers a wide range of options depending on their budget and preferred location.
How Interested Buyers Can Submit Their Offers
Anyone interested in purchasing any of the vehicles can place their bids online through the official EezyCars auction portal.
Before doing so, buyers are advised to first visit the yard where the vehicle is stored so they can inspect it in person and assess whether it matches their expectations.
Because the sale is being done through a private treaty arrangement, buyers are expected to submit their offers directly rather than compete in a fast-paced auction room setting.
This gives interested parties enough time to carefully review the units, compare prices, and decide how much they are willing to offer.
All bids must be submitted no later than 12 noon on Tuesday, April 21, after which the company is expected to review the offers received.
As is common in such vehicle disposal sales, all units are being sold on an “as is, where is” basis. This means the buyer accepts the vehicle in its current condition and at its current storage location, with no repairs or guarantees from the seller.
Because of this, physical inspection remains one of the most important steps before making any commitment.
Such vehicle sales are usually linked to repossessions, recovered assets, lease clearances, or surplus stock disposal, which often allows buyers to secure vehicles at prices that may be lower than normal market rates.
For many Kenyans, this creates a valuable opportunity to acquire personal or commercial vehicles at competitive prices while still having a wide variety of models to choose from.
