Shocked Ruto After A Lady Who Was Accused Of Hacking His Flight Released!! Watch Out

Court Releases Woman Accused of Tracking President Ruto’s Flights

A Nairobi court has ordered the release of Halima Ngache, a woman who had been arrested over allegations that she tracked and shared President William Ruto’s flight movements on social media platform X.

The decision came after the court closed the miscellaneous application that had been filed by investigators, effectively ending her detention in the matter.

Halima was arrested by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), who alleged that she had been monitoring and publishing details of the President’s air travel online.

Authorities claimed that the posts could pose a security risk because they revealed sensitive information about the Head of State’s movements.

However, during court proceedings, no formal criminal charges were presented against her within the required period, prompting the court to order her release.

Her release has sparked widespread debate on social media, with supporters celebrating the court’s decision as a victory for constitutional rights and due process. Others argued that while state security is important, authorities must still follow the law and present sufficient evidence before detaining suspects for extended periods.

The case attracted national attention after reports emerged that Halima, also known online as “Princess Halima,” had allegedly operated an account that published information about the President’s flights.

Civil rights groups and legal observers closely monitored the proceedings, raising concerns about freedom of expression and the rights of individuals arrested over online activities.

Despite her release, the court’s decision does not necessarily prevent investigators from pursuing fresh legal action should they obtain sufficient evidence.

For now, however, Halima has regained her freedom after the court found no basis to continue holding her under the miscellaneous application before it.
