The chaos at the T-Mall roundabout escalated unexpectedly when the police, attempting to disperse a growing crowd of protesters, accidentally fired teargas into their own lorry.

The mishap occurred in the midst of heightened tensions, with the demonstration already on edge due to mounting frustrations and loud chants from the protestors.

The sudden cloud of teargas enveloped the police vehicle, causing immediate confusion and disarray among the officers.

As the officers struggled to regain their composure, the protesters saw an opportunity to push their advantage.

The area around the roundabout became a scene of intensified turmoil, with some demonstrators advancing while others fled the spreading teargas.

The incident underscored the volatility of the situation and highlighted the challenges faced by law enforcement in maintaining order amid large, unpredictable crowds.

Emergency services quickly moved in to provide aid to the affected officers, several of whom were seen coughing and rubbing their eyes.

The unintended release of teargas added another layer of complexity to the already tense standoff, prompting calls for a review of police tactics and better training in crowd control measures.

Eyewitnesses reported that the mishap seemed to have demoralized the police force temporarily, giving the protestors a brief respite to regroup and voice their grievances more loudly.

In the aftermath of the incident, both sides called for a de-escalation of the conflict, with community leaders urging for peaceful dialogue.

The unfortunate event at T-Mall roundabout served as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of protests and the critical need for careful planning and precision in handling such volatile situations.
