Ndiema succumbed to severe burn injuries late Monday night after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following an incident in which he allegedly doused Cheptegei with petrol before setting her on fire. Three people have lost their lives on Friday in a tragic accident involving a government vehicle and a lorry transporting Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) at Fort Tenan in Kericho County. Kenya has reported its fifth confirmed case of the Mpox virus, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday. The latest case, identified on Wednesday, involves a 28-year-old female resident of VOK area in Mombasa. The patient is currently in isolation at Utange Hospital’s Mpox Isolation Centre.
