President William Ruto has appointed four new members to the Board of Directors of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited (NKCC), the oldest and largest dairy processor in East and Central Africa.
The appointments were announced in a special issue of the Gazette Notice today.
Noah Ndemo Nyachae, Dr. Rawlynce Bett, Naisula Keko, and Sarah Keino have been appointed to the board effective August 6, 2024, through March 9, 2026.
The Gazette Notice, signed by President Ruto, states:
“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) of the State Corporations Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces, appoints:
Noah Ndemo Nyachae, Rawlynce Bett (Dr.), Naisula Keko, and Sarah Keino to be members of the Board of Directors of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited, with effect from the 6th August, 2024 up to the 9th March, 2026.”
In conjunction with the new appointments, President Ruto has revoked the positions of four previous board members: Geoffrey Noah Angwenyi, David Kipkurui Samoei (Rtd), Colonel Rukia Rashid, and Elisha Biwot.
These individuals, who were appointed on March 10, 2023, were initially set to serve until March 2026.
