Kakamega: Married Nairobi Man Attacked and Injured by Side Chick During Visit

A 45-year-old man from Nairobi, Douglas Shisia, is nursing serious injuries after a violent encounter with his 38-year-old side chick in Kakamega.

Shisia had travelled from his marital home in Nairobi to meet the woman, a widow living in Shiatsala, in hopes of resolving ongoing relationship problems.

However, the visit took a shocking turn when an argument between the two escalated into a physical fight.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Shisia said that although they had been in a relationship for some time and had only met once last year, their connection had been strained due to trust issues.

The woman, fully aware that Shisia is married with children, had suspicions about his intentions.

Shisia explained that he travelled to Kakamega to mend their relationship and find peace, but things spiraled out of control.

Instead of finding common ground, Shisia was assaulted. According to him, the woman suddenly turned violent and physically attacked him.

“We were trying to talk things out, but she lost control and started beating me.

She bit my lower lip so badly that I now only have my upper lip left. I also suffered several bruises,” he explained.

Despite trying to defend himself, Shisia said the woman was physically stronger than he expected. “She overpowered me completely.

She pushed me against the walls and bit my lips. I cried out for help as loudly as I could, and that’s when neighbors came rushing to save me,” he said.

The injured man was quickly taken to Manyala Sub-County Hospital, where he received treatment for the lip injuries and other wounds.

The hospital’s doctor confirmed treating a male patient with severe lip bites before discharging him.

Following the incident, Shisia went to Manyala Police Station to file a report. He was issued with an OB number and a P3 form signed by the attending doctor to assist in seeking justice. “I’ve done everything by the law and now I’m just waiting for her to be arrested.

But my biggest concern is how I’ll explain all this to my wife when I return to Nairobi. I honestly need help,” he admitted with distress.

The police have been notified, and an investigation is expected to begin soon. Meanwhile, Shisia continues to recover as he deals not only with physical pain but also the emotional burden of the situation.
