Drama! President Ruto Almost Walks Out As Pastor Wilfred Lai Terrifies Him With Powerful Sermon.

In a recent sermon, Pastor Wilfred Lai of Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) delivered a powerful message that reportedly left President William Ruto visibly moved.

The event took place during a National Solemn Assembly at Nyayo National Stadium, attended by high-profile figures including the President, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, their spouses, and other dignitaries.

During his sermon, Pastor Lai called upon fellow clergy to collect a ‘Holy Offering’ from their congregations.

He suggested that these offerings be directed towards cleansing the National Treasury, implying that such spiritual intervention could address the nation’s economic challenges exacerbated by public debt.

Pastor Lai emphasized that honoring God with these offerings would invite divine control over Kenya’s economy, leading to healing and sufficiency.

This bold proposition seemed to resonate deeply with President Ruto, who has been vocal about integrating faith into governance. However, the intensity of Pastor Lai’s message reportedly led to a moment where the President appeared unsettled, almost leaving the assembly.

This incident highlights the influential role religious leaders play in Kenya’s socio-political landscape, often addressing issues that intertwine faith and national affairs.

Pastor Wilfred Lai is renowned for his dynamic preaching and leadership at JCC, a ministry he has nurtured from a modest congregation of 60 to over 10,000 members.

Under his guidance, JCC has expanded its reach, establishing centers across Kenya and internationally, including the U.S. and the U.K. Pastor Lai’s vision encompasses not only spiritual growth but also societal transformation through initiatives like educational institutions and media outreach.

This event underscores the profound impact that faith-based initiatives and messages can have on national leadership and policy, reflecting the deep-rooted connection between religion and governance in Kenya.
