Company Announces Major Car Auction With Prices Starting From Just KSh 92,000
A large-scale vehicle auction has been announced, giving Kenyan buyers a chance to own cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles at highly competitive prices.
The online sale is being organised by Onyango and Tarus Law Firm, and it features a wide selection of units ranging from budget-friendly family cars to premium luxury models and work trucks.
According to the auction notice published in one of the local dailies, the vehicles are currently being stored in different yards across the country. Some of the key viewing locations include Ruiru, Nakuru, Ukunda, Bungoma, and Kitui.
Interested buyers have been strongly advised to physically inspect the vehicles at these yards before placing their bids online, so they can fully understand the condition of each unit.
The auction includes several popular and reliable everyday cars that are likely to attract strong interest from buyers. Among them is a 2015 Honda Fit with a guide price of KSh 776,000.
Also listed is a 2013 Toyota Auris 150 XC at KSh 652,000, alongside a 2014 Toyota Vitz going for KSh 594,000. These models are expected to appeal to motorists looking for fuel-efficient and dependable vehicles for daily use.
For buyers working with a tighter budget, the auction also offers cheaper options starting from as low as KSh 92,000.
One of the most affordable vehicles on the list is a 2006 Nissan Wingroad Y12, making it a possible option for first-time car owners or small business operators seeking value for money.
Such low starting prices are likely to draw attention from bargain hunters hoping to secure a vehicle below the normal market rate.
Luxury car enthusiasts have not been left out either. The listing includes high-end models such as a 2013 BMW X3 F25 priced at KSh 1.564 million.
There is also a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C200 available from just KSh 274,000, which may interest buyers looking for an executive car at a reduced price.
Another standout premium unit is a 2013 Mercedes-Benz 911, which is listed at KSh 2.64 million.
Other notable vehicles in the auction include a 2009 Toyota Crown Athlete valued at KSh 748,000, a 2006 Subaru Outback at KSh 354,000, and a 2002 Toyota Ipsum 2.4 going for KSh 345,000.
The list also features a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Cargo 1.5 priced at KSh 196,000.
With such a broad selection, the auction is expected to serve different types of buyers, including families, first-time owners, business people, and fleet managers looking to expand their operations.
A key condition buyers must keep in mind is that all vehicles are being sold on an “as is, where is” basis.
This means every buyer must accept the vehicle in its current state and location, with no repairs or guarantees offered after purchase. Because of this, physical inspection remains one of the most important steps before bidding.
How Interested Buyers Can Place Bids
Potential buyers are required to submit their bids online through the official auction portal on the EezyCars website.
Before making an offer, bidders are encouraged to first visit the storage yards and inspect the cars in person.
This helps them make informed decisions based on the condition, mileage, and general appearance of the vehicles.
The notice further states that all bids must be submitted by 12 noon on Tuesday, April 7. Anyone experiencing difficulties during the bidding process has been advised to reach out to the auctioneers through the provided phone numbers, 0783 616458 or 0709 335005. Buyers may also use the official auction email contact for further assistance.
Vehicle auctions of this kind are common when units have been repossessed, when institutions are disposing of surplus stock, or when firms are undergoing liquidation and need to convert assets into cash quickly.
For buyers, such auctions often present a rare chance to purchase vehicles at prices that are sometimes far lower than regular showroom or dealership rates.
This marks the second major vehicle auction by Onyango and Tarus in less than a month. Earlier in March, the same firm also placed several cars on sale, with some units going for below KSh 100,000.
That earlier auction featured a variety of models, including the Mazda Carol, Nissan March, Volkswagen Passat, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Sienta, and Toyota Succeed, among others.
With prices ranging from entry-level bargains to premium luxury options, this latest auction is likely to attract widespread interest from buyers across Kenya who are searching for affordable deals and quality vehicles.
