In the video posted to her account, Betty is seen gleefully entering the TV47 studio while announcing her return to television. “After close to 4 years. I’m back. TV47 is now my home,” she stated. Betty went on to express how much she missed being on stage and couldn’t wait to see her audience again.

The show Betty will be hosting is called “This Friday With Betty”, indicating it will serve as a weekly news and entertainment program airing every Friday night. Friends and colleagues in the industry flooded her comments with congratulations and joy over the long-awaited TV comeback.

Dr. Ofweneke, Betty’s close friend who had long encouraged her return to screens, was elated by the news. Churchill also offered his best wishes, writing she should “reach for the stars.” Fans shared how much they missed watching Betty on TV since her exit four years prior.

Betty first found fame as a news anchor before switching to hosting lifestyle shows. She departing broadcasting in 2018 to focus on other ventures.

While Betty had stepped away from television, sources had recently hinted at her preparing for a debut at TV47. Her new role affords Betty the chance to return to primetime in a familiar Friday night format. It seems the queen is back where she belongs on Kenya’s small screens. Betty’s new show is expected to be a big hit with audiences. Her charismatic personality and expertise in both hard news and entertainment coverage make her the ideal host for a hybrid news-talk program. During her previous years in television, Betty earned a strong loyal following thanks to her likable demeanor, journalistic skills, and ability to relate to viewers.
