Zari Hassan Encourages Her Son to Pursue Relationships and Find the Right Partner! Zari Hassan, a Ugandan businesswoman living in South Africa, recently had a playful conversation with her son Quincy Tlale as he celebrated his birthday. In a video shared on Instagram, Zari questioned Quincy about his plans for the day, suspecting he may have been dressed up to spend time with girls rather than just friends.

Though Quincy insisted he was only going out to eat with friends, Zari pushed back lightheartedly. She expressed that it was perfectly normal and acceptable for Quincy to socialize with girls his age. Zari told her son she would prefer to hear he was spending time with girls over only hanging out with friends.
More than just giving Quincy space to explore relationships, Zari offered guidance as well. She told him he was free to date as many girls as he wanted and should be open about who he spends time with. However, Zari also gave Quincy some playful advice – to make sure any girls he dates are attractive, smart, and hardworking, with qualities similar to her own.
The funny exchange between mother and son highlighted Zari’s open approach to discussing dating and relationships. She encouraged Quincy to gain experience socializing and did not want him to feel reserved about pursuing connections with girls. At the same time, Zari maintained a light, joking tone throughout the conversation, clearly wanting to have an enjoyable discussion with her son on his birthday rather than a serious lecture.
The video provided a glimpse into Zari and Quincy’s close relationship as well as her philosophy of empowering her children, especially her sons, to make their own choices regarding friendship and romance as they grow into adulthood. While promoting independence, Zari still aimed to pass on some humorous guidance to help Quincy find the right partner to share meaningful relationships with.
