Business leaders in Nairobi are issuing a stern warning to Generation Z participants ahead of the planned #OccupyJKIA protest.

They emphasize the importance of peaceful demonstrations and caution against any attempts to engage in looting or vandalism.

“Any attempt to break into shops and loot will not be tolerated,” stated a representative. “We will respond with the full force of the law to protect businesses and maintain order.”

The business community is particularly concerned about the potential impact on the economy and the livelihoods of many Nairobians.

“Our city cannot afford the disruption and destruction that comes with looting,” a prominent entrepreneur explained. “We urge all protesters to respect private property and the rights of others.”

Authorities have also pledged to increase security measures in response to the planned protest.

“We are prepared to ensure that the protest remains peaceful and that any unlawful activities are swiftly dealt with,” said a police spokesperson.

“We advise all participants to adhere to the law and avoid any actions that could lead to violence or property damage.”

In light of these warnings, community leaders are calling for dialogue and peaceful expression of grievances. “We understand the frustrations driving the protest,” said a local activist.

“But violence and looting are not the answers. Let’s work together to find solutions without causing harm to our city and its people.”
