During their visit to Suna East in Migori County, President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua took time to interact with local residents in a relaxed and personal setting.

The leaders enjoyed a simple cup of tea at a local home, which was intended to show solidarity with the community and make their leadership more accessible.

This gesture was part of a larger effort by the administration to engage directly with citizens, listen to their concerns, and build stronger connections across different regions of Kenya.

The visit was received positively by many locals, who appreciated the informal approach and the opportunity to engage with the country’s top leaders in a casual environment.

Such interactions are seen as a way to bridge the gap between the government and the people, allowing leaders to understand and address grassroots issues more effectively.

By participating in everyday activities like sharing a cup of tea, President Ruto and DP Gachagua aimed to convey their commitment to being approachable and responsive to the needs of ordinary Kenyans.
