Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua recently surprised the people of Murang’a with a lively and generous show of support, igniting excitement and cheers at Murang’a Stadium.

During a public gathering, Gachagua gifted Ksh 500,000 to Ngaruiya Junior, a young performer whose talent had captivated the crowd.

Known affectionately as “Riggy G,” Gachagua’s presence and voice energized the audience, creating a moment of celebration that underscored his growing connection with his Mount Kenya supporters.

The Deputy President’s visit to Murang’a wasn’t just about speeches; it was a demonstration of his commitment to grassroots engagement.

By directly supporting local talents and initiatives, he signaled his intention to uplift the community and acknowledged the role of young people in shaping the region’s future.

His gesture also emphasized the importance he places on engaging with his base in Mount Kenya, where he aims to strengthen ties and respond to the unique needs of local residents.

Rigathi Gachagua’s efforts to connect with the youth and address regional concerns are part of his broader goal to rally the Mount Kenya community around key development issues.

His “one man, one vote, one shilling” revenue formula, which he continues to champion, was reiterated as an agenda focused on fair resource allocation.

This visit, characterized by fanfare and a boost to local morale, showcases Gachagua’s strategic focus on local empowerment and reinforces his standing as a key voice for the people of Mount Kenya.
